  • Very low power consumption so it can also be powered using an inexpensive low wattage power inverter connected to your cigarette lighter plug (not included). But remember, it has an internal battery, so no external power needed other than to recharge.
  
  

  How to use (wood not included):

  • Make a combination of one piece of 1x4 wood plank and one piece of 2x4.  (see photo)
  • Each piece should be 10-12" long.  Glue them together with wood glue such as Gorilla brand.
  • Make three pairs. Let's call them stands.
  • Place one stand under three of the four wheels by using a jack to lift each corner of the vehicle.
  • Lift the fourth wheel onto the scale.
  • Optional: If you don't want to lower and the raise the car for each corner, make seven of the above wood stands.
  • Raise and place a stand and scale under the car as described above. 
  • Place the four remaining stands in front of the wheels and carefully roll the car forward onto them.
  • Remove the scale and place it behind the wheel you want to measure and roll the car back onto the scale and the original stands.
  • It is recommended that two people roll the car from each end ON A FLAT SURFACE and that one person has quick access to the handbrake.  Roll the car slowly, only a few inches needed. Use wheel chocks when the car is positioned.
  • Each glued pair of wood (each stand) weighs only about 1 pound, very light and inexpensive.
